About the Raider Team 

The Raider Team is an elite extension of the JROTC program, offering cadets the opportunity to challenge themselves both mentally and physically. Designed for those who seek to push their limits, the Raiders focus on teamwork, endurance, and skill development through a series of demanding events. 

 

What Raiders Do 

The Raider Team competes in high-intensity, hands-on events that test both strength and strategy. These events include: 

• Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT): 

• 1-mile run 

• Push-ups 

• Sit-ups 

• Pull-ups 

• First Aid Skills and Litter Carry: 

• Learn and apply life-saving techniques 

• Carry injured teammates through obstacle scenarios 

• Knots and the One-Rope Bridge: 

• Master knot-tying and construct a rope bridge for team traversal 

• Maps and Land Navigation: 

• Develop skills in map reading and navigating unfamiliar terrain 

• Confidence Course: 

• Tackle obstacles that build trust, courage, and team cohesion
