About the Color Guard 

The Color Guard is a distinguished part of the JROTC program, representing the Bulls Battalion with honor, precision, and professionalism. Focused on the presentation and care of our nation’s colors, the Color Guard is a vital team that performs at ceremonial events, competitions, and community activities. 

 

What the Color Guard Does 

The Color Guard specializes in presenting and carrying flags with military precision. Key activities include: 

• Flag Presentation: 

• Properly carrying and presenting the national, state, and organizational colors 

• Honoring traditions during school events, parades, and ceremonies 

• Ceremonial Duties: 

• Leading events such as football games, graduations, and veteran recognitions 

• Demonstrating respect and professionalism at all times 

• Drill Competitions: 

• Competing in local, regional, and national competitions 

• Performing precise routines in uniform with synchronization and teamwork 

• Discipline and Bearing: 

• Maintaining impeccable posture, focus, and attention to detail 

• Mastering silent drill and other advanced techniques
