​The Parrish Community High School JROTC program, proudly known as the Bulls Battalion, is more than just a class—it’s a transformative experience. Designed to inspire leadership, responsibility, and motivation, the program equips cadets with skills for success in school, their communities, and beyond. It also provides a strong foundation in our nation’s history, fostering a deep sense of patriotism and citizenship.

What We Teach
The JROTC curriculum covers a wide range of essential topics, including:
• Squad drill and precision marching
• Health, wellness, and physical fitness
• Marksmanship and firearm safety
• Land navigation and map reading
• First aid and emergency preparedness
• Service learning and community engagement
These lessons build practical knowledge, leadership skills, and personal responsibility, ensuring that cadets are well-prepared for their futures.

Who We Are
Our dynamic program is led by two experienced and dedicated instructors:
• Lieutenant Colonel Bel Wilson, U.S. Army (Ret.)
• Sergeant Major Jerry Staff, U.S. Army (Ret.)
Together, they coach, mentor, and inspire cadets to set and achieve personal and academic goals while fostering a culture of excellence.
